The Acting Conservatory Program

The Ottawa Theatre School (OTS) offers an opportunity for dedicated students to develop the skills they need for a career in acting. The Acting Conservatory Program is an intensive diploma program in which students train with committed theatre professionals. The program encourages students to begin to find their own artistic voice while honing specific skills.

The primary emphasis of the program is to embed the basic physical skills that an actor relies on to work successfully in the profession. At OTS there is a focus on the development and creation of new work, coupled with intensive and physical training. The school is uniquely positioned to work with top professionals in the field.
